PRACTICE THE ART OF YOGA

Namaste

At the beginning of each class, I bring everyone together as one, by guiding us through a breathing practice to help focus our mind and body into the present moment. Starting the class with this ‘centering’ practice, allows us to move as one in harmonious energy. I like to follow this with an opening chant before commencing into movement. 

Energising Vinyasa Flow

MONDAY 9:30-10:30

Vinyasa Flow classes are best for intermediates. Each class links different postures together so that we move from one into another, seamlessly whilst using our breath. Vinyasa helps to connect our actions with the intention of moving towards what is most important to us.

Gentle Vinyasa Flow

MONDAY 11:00-12:00

The Gentle Flow class is intended to be easier and less intense, making it perfect for beginners. These classes include flow, balance, strength and breathing techniques which help to deepen the mind/body connection.

Mixed Evening Flow

MONDAY 18:15-19:15

A relaxing and rejuvenating session designed for all abilities. Open to both men and women, this class combines gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to help you unwind and restore balance after a busy day. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, this welcoming practice is the perfect way to end your day on a calm and positive note.

Yoga + Sound Bath Session

FRIDAY 6th DECEMBER: 19:30-20:45

In these sessions I focus on balancing the chakras through yoga and meditation with the vibration of sound. Singing bowls are powerful healing tools, that have been proven to lower blood pressure and cholesterol, reduce stress and anxiety, ease depression and even improve quality of sleep. Students report feelings of contentment, peace and wellbeing after a sound healing session.
