Yoga classes based in Banchory – Aberdeenshire

My classes are designed to allow the opening of the chakras, to allow for optimal flow of energy throughout the body. I will guide you through a gentle warm up, followed with sun salutations and a flow of standing and seated postures, finishing up with a short relaxation, meditation or even a sound healing practice.

Mindfulness is the practice of focusing your attention on the present moment, which is a big part of yoga. It’s a key element in reducing stress and increasing happiness.

Flexibility

Yoga is a great way to work on flexibility and strength. Different poses stretch various muscles and develop core strength leading to improved posture and balance.

Relaxation

Yoga encourages mental and physical relaxation, which helps reduce stress and anxiety. The postures relieve tension, and may help you release physical blockages like muscle knots.
